Day 1- Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu and meet the SITA representative at the
arrival hall and transfer to hotel. Spend rest of the day
walking around in downtown, Durbar Square
Day 2- In Kathmandu
Morning visit Hanuman Dhoka, the name of the old royal palace
has been derived from the statue of Hanuman (the monkey
god of Hindu mythology) Also visit the hilltop Stupa of
Swayambhunath, considered 2,000 years old.
Day 3- In Kathmandu
Morning visit The Pashupatinath Temple, situated on the
banks of River Baghmati around 8 km from the city, is one
of the holiest Hindu shrines. Also visit Boudnath is one
of the largest stupas in the world.
Day 4- To Paro
Intime transfer to airport to board flight for Paro. Arrive
Paro and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Paro city covering
Drukgyel Dzong & 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of
the oldest monasteries in Bhutan. From the Sartsham Chorten
one can get a view of Taktsang (Tiger’s nest) Lhakhang,
perched on a sheer rock face. Also visit the National Museum
located in Ta Dzong to see a collection of old Thangkha
paintings, textiles, weapons and artifacts.
Day 5- To Thimpu
Morning drive to Thimpu. Arrive Thimpu and check – in at
hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Thimpu visiting Chorten
built in memory of King Jigme Dorje Wangchuck, father of
the present king; the Handicraft Emporium displaying traditional
products; The Fine Arts Center, school of Thanghka paintings,
the Traditional Medicine Institute and the Tashichhodzong.
Day 6- To Phuntsoling
Morning drive to Phuntsholing is the most famous gateway
to Bhutan from India. Arrive Phuntsholing and check – in
at hotel.
Day 7- To Kalimpong
Morning drive to Kalimpong. Arrive Kalimpong and check –
in at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Kalimpong visiting
Dr Graham’s Homes, a vast educational complex spreading
over 500 acres of hillside; Thapa Choling a monastery lying
enroute; Lepcha Museum having a rare collection of Lepcha
manuscripts and effects.
Day 8- To Gangtok
Morning drive to Gangtok. Arrive Gangtok and check – in
at hotel. Gangtok is delightfully quaint capital of Sikkim,
where crimson robed monks glide among pagoda-roofed houses.
Day 9- In Gangtok
Morning sightseeing tour of Gangtok including Research
Institute Of Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary at Deorali having
200 varieties of orchids; Enchey Monastery, Do Drul Chorten,
one of the state’s most sacred stupas having 108 prayer
wheels.
Day 10- To Darjeeling
Morning drive to Darjeeling. Arrive Darjeeling and check
– in at hotel. Facing the towering Himalayas and surrounded
by high green hills covered with coniferous forests, Darjeeling
is perched literally on the roof of the world.
Day 11- In Darjeeling
Early morning visit to Tiger Hill to see sun rise over Mount
Everest. On the way back to your hotel visit Ghoom Monastery
built in 1934 by Yellow Sect. It is the repository for valuable
Tibetan texts. Later visit Observatory Hill which is an
excellent place for a view of Kanchenjunga and Himalayas.

being processed.
Day 12- To Delhi
Intime leave for Bagdogra airport by road to board flight
to Delhi. Arrive Delhi (no hotel accommodation envisaged).
You will be assisted by a SITA representative to board flight
